Worth – Akashni Johnson

“These pages contain struggle and strength, rock-bottom and sky-high, the losing and finding of self-worth, and I hope you discover home in them”

“Worth” isn’t as intense as something like “milk and honey” or “the sun and her flowers” but it is a refreshing piece about losing and finding your self worth which I feel like a lot of humans can relate to in one way or another.

When you flip the first page it says, “for you, the one who decided they deserve better”

This was the first book I have read poetry wise in forever as I have been obsessed with Hadena James & her D&R series, by the way, Demonic Dreams has officially dropped but since it is exam season the most I could do is purchase the book and let it collect dust on my kindle.

I would love if you guys gave “Worth” a read.  I got my copy on Amazon for around $7.00.
