milk and honey – rupi kaur

If you check my “currently reading” page it says that I am reading a book titled “Why men love bitches” and while this is true, I took some time off from that book to read milk and honey by rupi kaur.

This book is mostly poetry so it only took me about an hour to read and let me tell you, it was an hour well spent.

The description of this book is as followed,

this is the journey of

surviving through poetry

this is the blood sweat tears

of twenty-one years

this is my heart

in your hands

this is

the hurting

the loving

the breaking

the healing

-rupi kaur

I wrote in my post exactly how it looks on the back of this book.  The book is separated into four sections, the hurting, the loving, the breaking & the healing.

As you can see this is about the authors own experiences that she turned into poem form and it is extremely beautiful.

I got my book from amazon click here for the link

This book was a 10/10 for me and I would suggest picking it up.

Now, if you guys want to see a separate post on my personal favourite poems from this book let me know in the comments below!!
