I am a huge breakfast person. My mom always told me that I needed to eat breakfast when I was younger and I just never really broke out of the cycle.
Lately since I have started going to the gym, there are a lot of breakfast foods I just don’t eat because of the high sugar content.
Today I decided that I wanted to share what I was eating for breakfast with you guys!
First, I made a strawberry and banana smoothie, which I make almost every single morning.
In my smoothie I put:
- Crushed ice
- Silk Almond, almond milk 30 cal (sugar free) as much milk as you want
- 1 Whole banana
- 3 Strawberries
- Ground flaxseeds (optional)
Next we have my version of a breakfast taco..
For my tacos I used
- 2 whole brown eggs
- 3 pieces of turkey bacon
- 2 whole wheat wraps
- Grated cheese
- Vegan butter (to make eggs and bacon)
I scramble the eggs with vegan butter, fry the bacon with vegan butter and toast the wraps in a empty frying pan.
Once that is all done, I put the eggs in first and I can’t eat my eggs without ketchup so of course I have to add some.
Next, I have a cup of green mint tea every single morning. I get my tea from Teavana, it is the moroccan mint loose leafs. I can’t skip over my tea in the morning, even if I don’t end up eating which is rare, I MUST drink my tea.
